Getting here by Ferry

On Port Phillip the Sorrento-Portsea car and passenger ferry runs on the hour, every hour, between Sorrento and Queenscliff and provides a great link to and from the Great Ocean Road. It operates every day of the year from 7am until 6pm and carries passengers, cars, caravans, buses and trucks. There are no luggage limits.

On Western Port, there is a small inter-island ferry between Stony Point on the Mornington Peninsula and Cowes on Phillip Island that carries passengers only. It also stops at French island in the middle of Western Port. Please note that due to deck space restrictions there is no obligation to carry luggage that is more than 7kg and/or is greater than 115cm in total dimensions (measured by adding together the length, height and depth of the bag).
