Getting here by Bus
AIRPORT BUS: The Airport Bus Service operates daily from Melbourne (Tullamarine) Airport to Frankston with special ‘pre booked only’ services that extend to Rosebud. They also offer a return service. Ticketing is separate to the 'myki' system used on other trains and buses. See below for information and timetables.
MYKI TICKETING: There are a number of bus routes that operate across the Mornington Peninsula. Buses use the ‘myki’ card system of ticketing. Customers are advised to only purchase myki cards from the authorised outlets. You can buy and top up your myki at over 800 retailers including all 7-Eleven stores, the ticket office window at Premium Stations and staffed V/Line commuter stations, from a myki machine (full fare myki cards only) located at all train stations and major tram and bus interchanges, by calling 1800 800 007 (6am - midnight daily), or from the Public Transport Victoria website (see below for link).
FRANKSTON-PORTSEA BUS ROUTES: Travel by bus along the Port Phillip coast from Frankston through Mornington (express Frankston to Mornington) to Dromana, Rosebud Rye and Sorrento and Portsea. The Frankston-Portsea bus follows route 788 and departs approximately every 45 minutes Monday - Friday, every hour Saturday and every 2 hours Sunday. See below for information & timetables.

FRANKSTON TO HASTINGS & FLINDERS BUS ROUTES: Traverse the Western Port area from Frankston through Baxter, Somerville, Tyabb, Hastings, Bittern, Balnarring with some services continuing on to Merricks, Shoreham and Flinders. Departing approximately every 2 hours Monday – Friday (more often in warmer months), less frequently on weekends.
