There's something magic about being welcomed personally by a host who is thrilled to have you stay and
proud of what they offer. Someone who has put their heart and soul into creating a truly special place for you to enjoy and someone who
knows that it's their attention to the littlest details that makes a perfect holiday for you.
There's something wonderful about waking up in a comfortable bed, snuggling up in crisp clean linens and lounging
around in luxurious, romantic surroundings. You can relax with confidence, knowing that your host has satisfied our strict quality control standards
and that your accommodations are meticulously cleaned and well maintained.
There's something exciting about having lots of choices of things to do; without being intrusive, your host
can offer a wealth of local knowledge and help you get the most out of your Mornington Peninsula experience. Then again, there's something
blissfully relaxing about staying in and choosing to do absolutely nothing at all... isn't there? Why are our members the finest?
MPBBAAA Inc. members own and operate properly registered accommodation businesses, which comply with local, state and federal Government
regulations, are fully insured and satisfy the Association's strict quality standards inspection/requirements. Objectives
The Association's general objective is the promotion of high quality accommodation in a family home, ancillary buildings, cottages and
holiday units by a resident host/s. We also aim to provide a unified voice for operators, facilitate the exchange of 'best practice' information
and vacancy networking between members and endeavour to keep members abreast of new and current information regarding all aspects of the
tourism industry. Benefits
Benefits to members include collective representation on the Mornington Peninsula Tourism board, inclusion in our various Association promotions, the right to appear on our members only website and discounts for various goods and services available only to our members.
Members also receive an informative bi-monthly newsletter - 'The Open Door', a membership decal for front entrance to property, stationary stickers, exclusive marketing offers, and the right to use the MPBBAAA Inc logo and catchphrase combination.
Meetings
The Association holds bi-monthly general meetings, at various tourism facilities across the Peninsula, where we have industry related guest speakers, exchange 'best practice' information, network and discuss issues and develop marketing ideas. Members are expected to attend a minimum of three (3) meetings per annum.
