DESCRIPTION:A revealing exhibition bringing together contemporary works on paper from across the nation. National Works on Paper is one of the most prestigious acquisitive prize exhibitions of its type in Australia. The 2012 Beleura National Works on Paper showcases recent works by innovative artists working in the field of drawing, printmaking, digital prints and paper sculpture. Traditional approaches to working with paper will be explored along with works that use new technological mediums – displaying the ways in which these mediums are prompting new explorations of working with and on paper.

This diverse and exciting exhibition provides a survey of what’s happening in contemporary art across Australia today.
