The Lancemore Group is thrilled to announce that Lindenderry at Red Hill was among three of their hotels that have made the Australian rankings in the highly respected 31st annual US Condé Nast Traveler’s 2018 Reader’s Choice Awards – placing in the top ten. The longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry, Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards are commonly known as “the best of the best of travel”. Voted in at number nine by discerning travellers, the 2018 awards received nearly half a million submissions from readers, and tens of thousands of comments. Reader responses rated their travel experiences to provide a full snapshot of where and how we travel today. With such a high number of submissions, receiving three hotels on the awards list is a notable achievement for Lancemore Group.
Julian Clark, Lancemore Group CEO, said, “The hotels on CNT’s Readers’ Choice Awards are a genuine rollcall of the best hotels in the world, so to see any Lancemore hotel feature is an honour. However, with only 15 hotels voted in from our region, having three Lancemore hotels make the list is a real thrill. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to all our guests who not only choose to stay with us but also took the time to vote for us as their favourite hotel. We are always striving to ensure your stay is exceptional and this is a great tribute.
It really is our staff that make the difference between good and outstanding, so this win is a credit to our teams who go over and above to deliver such a memorable guest experience. We may not be the biggest hotel group in Australia but as a family business, we take great pride in what we do and always strive to be the best. Being the most awarded hotel brand in Australia and New Zealand in this year’s awards means a great deal to us and is cause for celebration. Thank you again to all who voted!”
The award is well deserved, particularly given Lindenderry at Red Hill has also undergone multi-million dollar refurbishments in the last year. Located on 34 stunning hectares of gardens and vineyards on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, re-launched in January 2018 featuring a 5 Star Halliday Winery, Lindenderry Wine, and a celebrated restaurant featuring regional produce on the menu. All 40 rooms and four communal spaces have been designed by awarding-winning design studio Hecker Guthrie.
