3 Farmers and A Chef at RACV Cape Schanck Resort

Experience a tantalising culinary journey across the Mornington Peninsula, learning about the region’s extensive range of local and seasonal produce directly from the incredible talent behind it all.

The ‘3 Farmers and a Chef’ pop up event series has been transformed into an online digital event series. An insightful tour and interactive cooking experience, this digital series gives viewers the opportunity to take an intimate journey across the region from the comfort of their own couch. Follow award-winning chef Josh Pelham of RACV Cape Schanck Resort as he travels through the region, sourcing fresh local ingredients to create his final dish – Seared snapper fillet, macadamia skordalia and pickled cucumber salad. Meet three local producers along the way, each of whom share the story of their trade and provide exclusive insights about the authenticity of their product.

Join Josh Pelham as he creates a delectable dish showcasing local Port Phillip snapper from Peninsula Fresh Seafood and a variety of seasonal fresh Tully’s Corner Produce Store vegetables, matched with a beautiful Montalto wine. 

Meet 3 Farmers and a Chef

A region renowned as a destination delivering quality dining experiences, the 3 Farmers and a Chef digital event series allows you to replicate this authentic foraging and cooking journey to create your very own fine dining experience at home.

Fishmonger Geoff Newing

As a long-term believer in supplying high quality, local and fresh produce, mussel farmer and fishmonger Geoff Newing created Peninsula Fresh Seafood. Providing some of the region’s best seafood produce, Peninsula Fresh Seafood guarantee the quality of their product through their involvement from beginning to end – the growing, harvesting, processing, and selling of their seafood. 

Winemaker Anthony Jones

Anthony Jones is a passionate wine consumer with over 20 years’ industry experience and has developed a love of growing and making wine. Montalto focusses on creating wines of flawless quality and character, using winemaking techniques which emphasise the unique qualities reflected in each vineyard site. For Anthony, it is the connection from vineyard to glass that fascinates and drives him and strengthens his desire to share this with others.

Tully’s Corner Produce Store

Tully’s Corner Produce Store is a family-run business who pride themselves on empowering farmers and growers in the region. Offering fresh and tasty produce and small goods all of which are locally sourced from the Mornington Peninsula. With a storewide focus of making a difference, Tully’s care about being part of the local community, offering a friendly and wholesome experience.

Executive Chef Josh Pelham

Josh Pelham, Executive Chef at RACV Cape Schanck Resort, and his staff take pride in showcasing the local food and wine which has been shaped by the seas and soils of the region, while treating guests to one of the finest culinary experiences on the Mornington Peninsula. RACV Cape Schanck Resort offers a number of dining experiences across their venue, each of which showcases the extensive range of fresh produce available in the region and paired with some of the regions famous wines.
