Kym and Ted Smirnoff reckon they have the best job in the world - they get to sample all the delicious Mornington Peninsula goodies before they decide to stock them.  Their business, Peninsula Gourmet Emporium is an Aladdin's cave of delights.  Locally made chutneys, jams and relishes perch alongside biscuits, lollipops and (of course) lots of  local wine.  Along with all the accoutrements needed to indulge; pate knives, cheese boards and more.

When asked why the Peninsula’s produce is so good, Kym’s passion for the region is clear.  “On the Mornington Peninsula we are truly blessed. We are surrounded by coastlines with a rich hinterland centre, fertile soil, inspired food producers, and a long agricultural legacy. It’s little wonder that from this region we’re seeing the most luscious produce ever made”, she says.

Tucked away from the main drag, the emporium truly is a hidden gem worth taking the time to discover.
