Earlier this month, Chief’s Son Distillery’s – ‘Cask Expression’ - was awarded a Bronze in the ‘Single Malt’ 12 years and under category of the 2021 World Whiskies Awards.
The team shared, “Chief’s Son Distillery are proud and excited to be releasing their latest award-‐winning Australian made Single Malt Whisky, with limited distribution.
This ‘Cask Expression – Belgian Tripel 47.85%’ is a shining example of our unique and individual approach to malt whisky.
Initially matured in French oak, ex-‐Apera, the whisky was then secondarily matured in a beautifully saturated Belgian Tripel beer barrel. This coupling of oak, apera, soft peat, malts and creamy yeasts has forged a unique Single Malt Whisky that embodies the Chief’s Son character, whilst adding incredible dark sweetness, intensity of malt and an exceptional depth of flavour.”

The award-winning limited-edition Single Malt Whisky is currently available for pre-‐release sales to the Chief’s Son Distillery 900 Club and directly from the distillery door.
This whisky will be available through the Chief’s Son Distillery online shop and through selected retailers from March 1st, 2021.
