Term One is done and dusted, and wow, that went fast.  School holidays are here whether we’re ready or not, so we thought we'd gather a chock-a-block line up of family fun to help you fill those long but lovely days with fabulous family fun adventures. 


Junior Chocolatier Classes - Mornington Peninsula Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery

Kids will be happy to go back to school for these classes! Chocolate-covered fun awaits kids aged 6-12 at Mornington Peninsula Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery in Flinders.  The 45-minute hands-on class is in a parent's free zone; kids learn to make their very own chocolate creations with the talented European Chocolatiers. The experience includes a personalised badge, chef's hat and apron, graduation certificate, plus your little munchkins get to take home three chocolate creations to enjoy!

Sand Sculpting – Boneo Discovery Park

DINO IN SAND is bought to Boneo Discovery Park by Sand Sculpting Australia brings world class Sand Sculpting to the Australian stage. Join us this Summer for an incredible prehistoric journey through sand. See the worlds best sand sculptors craft Australian dinosaurs that sit along the stunning lakeside. Flanked by Animatronic dinosaurs this is a full sensory experience for both the young and old. A magical outdoor space to discover art, nature and play, Boneo Discovery Park's new exhibit will appeal to families and visitors of all ages.

Kids Farm Tour - Green Olive at Red Hill

Green Olive at Red Hill Winery encourages kids to enjoy and learn from a real working farm. Their Farm Tour allows children to meet farm animals, tour the farm, and learn about where food comes from, all while spending time outside in the fresh air and sunshine. Children can feed the chooks, guinea fowl and ducks, collect the eggs, pat Gracie the Shetland pony and chat with Pisa and Baci, their friendly Maremma sheepdogs. Don't forget to wear your gumboots for an authentic and less messy experience!

Keeper Club Holiday Program – Moonlit Sanctuary

If you have some junior wildlife lovers looking for some fun over the Easter school holidays, Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park's Keepers Club holiday program is the ideal activity. Kids can enjoy environmental activities, animal encounters and native animal care. Interact with cockatoos, reptiles and nocturnal animals that are usually off-limits to the public. Junior Keepers help with feeding animals and animal enrichment activities. For ages 7-14 years. Bookings are essential as spaces are limited.
