Cool twilight magic at Peninsula Hot Springs

With longer daylight hours, warmer weather and holidays in the air, we spoke to the team of Peninsula Hot Springs to get their insider tips on why twilight is the most magical time of day to visit. The team painted us the perfect list of must do activities this summer in the soft glowing light of twilight —

Unwind after a long day

There is nothing more relaxing, than to wander around the lake to find the hydrojet pool.  Under trees laden with fairy lights, the air filled with the natural choir of Banjo frogs, you can enjoy the relaxation of a back, leg or foot massages through the pool hydrojets.

Enjoy live music

Relax, float and unwind to the sounds of live music this summer as Australian and International touring artists take to the Amphitheatre stage. Featured fortnightly on Friday or Saturday nights from 7pm, the ‘Showcase Series’ celebrates music across many styles — contemporary Australian singer/songwriters to electronica; the plethora of choice means you can find your ideal sounds to float to.

Indulge and graze

Stimulate the senses with a glass of local wine and grazing board of cheeses, dips, olives, lavosh, pita bread and quince paste. The Bath House café is open until 9pm during school holidays and Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights to ensure there is plenty of time to experience this delicious escape.

Sunset views

Stop and soak, while you take in the sunset from the Hilltop pool. Boasting a 360-degree view of the region, gather friends and head to one of the most popular pools to enjoy this magical time of day.

Cleanse your body

Feel refreshed and rejuvenated in one of the ambient pools in the Bath House Amphitheatre bathing area. Cleanse your skin after a day in the sun in the Turkish Hammam or our underground sauna.

Peace and tranquility

Twilight affords a quiet time to experience the springs. Romance and reconnecting with friends at this time of day makes for one of our most peaceful times with children often tucked up asleep at home in bed.

Stargaze

The night sky shines extra brightly from the newest addition to the Bath House bathing area. The Bath House Amphitheatre features 6 large pools to watch the sky in the soft hues of twilight.
