All Food & Wine

Food and wine just doesn’t get any better than this

Whether you’ve got a day or a week, the Mornington Peninsula is total temptation. You’ll find market gardens, farmgates, farmers markets, artisan food producers, winery restaurants and casual cafes.

The Mornington Peninsula vineyards are famous – but there are new and exciting tastes to enjoy at craft breweries, cider makers and distilleries. Fill your picnic basket at a farmgate or share a regional platter at a winery restaurant. Take high tea, book a cooking class or savour a fine dining experience in a Chef’s Hat restaurant – it’s all here.

You can pick up a Touring and Trails map at key locations around the region, or discover more about the Wine Food Farmgate Trail HERE>>

Crittenden Estate

Founded by Wine Legend Garry Crittenden, Crittenden Estate has been creating world class wines for more than 35 years.

Second generation wine-maker Rollo Crittenden, continues the family’s passion, pushing the boundaries and creating award winning wines worthy of exploring and enjoying with family and friends.

When you walk into the cellar door, you'll notice things are a little different to other wineries, with a new style of wine tasting experience.

You won’t be jostling for position at a bar, waiting for your glass to be filled. Instead, they slow the pace down with a warm welcome, a seat at your own table and a tailored wine tasting journey created just for you.

Crittenden Estate wine tasting is personal, it's fun, it's relaxed, you may learn a little about wine and you may even discover a new favourite along the way.

The Estate is one of the oldest family owned wineries on the Mornington Peninsula, regarded by many as pioneers in wine making. They are passionate about cool climate wines as well as Spanish and Italian varietals.

Wines available for tasting include the Estate Range Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Rose together with Mediterranean style wines including Sangiovese and Tempranillo.
