Exhibition Inspired by Jane Austen at Beleura House & Garden

Open daily throughout winter 2025 | From 10am

Contact

Contact Name: Beleura House and Garden

Location

1 Tallis Drive
Mornington, 3931 Victoria

We are celebrating the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth with our new exhibition Inspired by Jane Austen at Beleura.

Beleura is proud to present a unique collection of original items from the collection of Caroline Jane Knight, the last of Jane Austen’s nieces from Chawton House on the ancestral estate where Jane Austen lived and wrote her novels. This is the first time Caroline has exhibited selected fashion items from her collection alongside chosen publications.

The exhibition features original period garments, shoes, bonnets, fashion watercolours and novels, inspired by the theme of Pride and Prejudice.

See the exhibition as part of a Morning Tea tour (10am-123.30pm) or Full Day tour of the House & Gardens (10am-2.30pm) which includes lunch and morning tea.

All tours include the House and exhibition - see website for details.
