The Mornington Railway runs on the Mornington Branch line, recreating the original Victorian Railways branch line operation. As a heritage and tourist railway at the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula, return services from Moorooduc to Mornington deliver education and enjoyment for children and adults. Trains run each Sunday of every month and selected public holidays.
On most days, steam locomotives haul lovingly restored passenger carriages. On other days, trains are hauled by heritage diesel-electric locomotives. The main centre of operations is at Moorooduc Station located next to the Mount Eliza Regional Park. Entry is from Two Bays Road near Moorooduc Highway. The team of dedicated volunteers look forward to giving you an enjoyable day out.
