It tells a lot about the quality of the individual players that after less than a year of playing together, the Affinity String Quartet were awarded 3rd Prize at the 2022 Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition in London, an incredible achievement.

Their program features one of Mendelssohn's last and most dramatic works, written after the death of his beloved sister, Fanny, herself an accomplished composer. Wilma Smith.
