The Mornington Peninsula’s Winter Wine Weekend is a firm circle on calendars around town. Pull on your jumper and boots to celebrate mid-winter with our wineries offering food here, wine by the bottle there and the countryside its usual beauty to explore.

This annual three-day celebration has been held during the King's Birthday long weekend in June since the 1980s.

Winter Wine Fest - The weekend opens with a showcase exhibition and tasting on Saturday 10 June from 11am to 4pm in the Pavilions at Red Hill Showgrounds. This is a rare opportunity to experience Mornington Peninsula wineries exhibiting around 120 premium wines in one place at one time, highlighting the incredible diversity in wines resulting from the climate and terroir unique to the region. A selection of local restaurants will provide the delicious winter food and some live music to add to the festive vibe of the day.

Full general admission tickets include all tastings, a Riedel glass for tastings and to take home, tasting book and three entrée sized food servings. A Designated Driver ticket does not include tastings, however, everything else is included (glass is collected on the way out).
