On Friday 10 May, we’re inviting storytellers to share tales on the theme 'Motherhood & Water' as part of a special Story Slam event with Jane Hone.

Story Slam gives storytellers a platform to share their personal narratives about how water has weaved through their journey of motherhood. From tales of beaches, baths, rivers, and pools to tender moments of water births, waters breaking, or mothers and children separated by water, each storyteller has five minutes to share the profound ways water has shaped their experience as mothers.

Whether recounting moments by the shore or the power of water during childbirth, Story Slam is a space to open the conversation of heartfelt storytelling that celebrates the diverse connections between Motherhood & Water.

Story Slam…in the pavilion with Jane Hone will take place on 10 May 2024 at 7pm in our Moroccan Pavilion.
