Jackalope Weekend is a curated dreamscape, three nights where art, flavour and fantasy converge in a crescendo of bold expression. From 13 to 15 June, our world-renowned Mornington Peninsula retreat transforms into a stage for the extraordinary. Every moment is fleeting, every detail impossibly rare.
It begins on Friday evening as Flaggerdoot, our decadent cocktail salon, opens its doors to Starward Whisky for a one night only masterclass in flavour and fire. Two bespoke cocktails and a special edition venison and rabbit pie by Group Executive Chef Michael Wickham blur the line between indulgence and art. On Sunday evening, an in-house guest exclusive fireside tasting offers a final whisper of warmth and wonder, a closing ritual for those who stay.
Saturday evening, under the golden glow of 10,000 suspended globes, Doot Doot Doot welcomes the revered Yugen Dining for a one night only tasting experience where precision meets poetry. Japanese mastery is reimagined on the Peninsula in a fleeting act of culinary alchemy, a moment that will never repeat.
Then on Sunday, ALT Pasta Bar brings a riot of flavour to our hatted restaurant. Italian decadence meets Korean ingenuity in a wild and beautiful lunch of fusion and flair, created solely for this occasion.
That evening, step inside the story of Jackalope. Join us for an intimate panel exploring the vision, collaborators and creative forces behind the brand and hotel. This rare behind the scenes conversation is open to the public, with a glass of wine on arrival and the invitation to linger longer, whether for dinner in Doot Doot Doot or flowing cocktails in Flaggerdoot. Admission is free, bookings are recommended, and curiosity is encouraged.
