This September marks a truly special milestone. It is now 50 years since our very first market, the iconic Red Hill Community Market®, launched on the first Saturday of September in 1975. What began with 28 local producers and craftspeople has blossomed into a vibrant community of stallholders and network of markets, making CMA the cornerstone of Victoria's craft market scene

To honour this incredible journey, we’re announcing our official 50th Birthday Market will be held on Saturday 10am to 3pm, September 6th, at the Mornington Racecourse — a venue that has been home to our markets for over 30 wonderful years .

Expect a day filled with festivities, live music, delicious food, and special moments to mark this once-in-a-generation celebration.

Here’s to 50 years of handmade magic, community spirit, and small business success. Let’s celebrate it together.

When the market is over, the town's boutique shops and coastal pleasures completes a great day's outing.
