The Mornington Peninsula boasts galleries of all sizes. Some house internationally recognized collections, others are a great place to pick up unique works for your own collection. Australia’s top glass blowing family has their studio in Red Hill, where you visit their gallery, join a workshop and even sometimes see them at work. There are galleries with interesting affordable contemporary art and local artists who open their studios as part of a trail. Painters, ceramic artists, jewellers, silk workers, potters, wood workers, print makers, indigenous artists, photographers and more.

The Mornington Peninsula is also home to the most important biennial outdoor sculpture exhibition in Australia, with an outstanding collection of works, as well as one of Victoria’s largest contemporary galleries, and there are dozens of smaller, very individual galleries and studios.
