For 2021 the ‘3 Farmers and a Chef’ pop up event series has been transformed into an online digital event series.
Experience a tantalising culinary journey across the Mornington Peninsula, learning about the region’s extensive range of local and seasonal produce directly from the incredible talent behind it all. Follow award-winning chef Josh Pelham of RACV Cape Schanck Resort as he travels through the region, sourcing fresh local ingredients to create his final dish – Seared snapper fillet, macadamia skordalia and pickled cucumber salad. Join Josh as he creates a delectable dish showcasing local Port Phillip snapper from Peninsula Fresh Seafood and a variety of seasonal fresh Tully’s Corner Produce Store vegetables, matched with a beautiful Montalto wine.
Follow Polperro’s distinguished Executive Chef Michael Demagistris as he forages the region in search for delicious, fresh seasonal ingredients to create his final dish - Country-farmed beef terrine served with spiced apple chutney, sourdough crisps and organic black garlic. Along the journey, meet three local farmers, each of whom provide a behind-the-scenes tour of their business, share the journey of their trade and showcase the produce of which they offer. Join Michael Demagistris as he creates a divine dish showcasing Tuerong Farm flour, apples from Staples Apples and country-farmed beef from Hillock Downs Produce Store.
