Tall Poppy Exhibition - Melbourne Design Week - Opening Night

Tall Poppy is more than a showcase of incredible design - it’s a statement about where Australian design stands today and where it’s heading. The exhibition marks the first time the NGV Melbourne Design Week has programmed an exhibition on the Mornington Peninsula, establishing a historic precedent for regional design excellence.

This all-encompassing celebration spotlights Australian and Melbourne designers who are breaking beyond the glass ceiling while remaining connected to centuries-old traditions. More importantly, it makes visible Australia’s new era of design: one defined by accessibility, collaboration and feasibility.

Melbourne Design Week is an initiative of the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
