A magical school holiday experience for the whole family.
As the sun sets over the vines at Portsea Estate, join Walk Mornington Peninsula for an unforgettable evening where families come together to explore, discover and connect with nature.
With glowing headlamps lighting the way, parents and children will wander through the beautiful grounds of Portsea Estate alongside proprietor Will Ross, learning about the fascinating natural systems that make this regenerative farm thrive.
Along the walk, you’ll discover the importance of healthy soils, native plants, composting, soil fungi, bees and biodiversity, and how these living systems work together to produce Portsea Estate’s cool-climate wines, raw honey, native trees and estate-grown olive oil. Rather than a lesson, this is an interactive outdoor experience designed to inspire curiosity, encourage questions and help children and adults see the natural world in a whole new way.
As daylight fades and the vineyard begins to glow, you’ll continue your adventure beneath the stars, creating memories together in one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most beautiful settings.
After your Glow Hike, return to the winery where the children can enjoy a delicious hot chocolate while the adults unwind with a full glass of premium Portsea Estate wine. Gather around the outdoor fire (weather permitting), soak up the vineyard atmosphere and hear the story behind this remarkable family farm, its wines and its commitment to regenerative farming.
Whether it’s your first Glow Hike or your first visit to Portsea Estate, Vineyard Glow Nights is a unique opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life, reconnect as a family and experience the magic of the Mornington Peninsula after dark.
