Join florist and artist Domenica Vavala for a creative and inspiring morning celebrating autumn, a season of harvest and abundance. Drawing on techniques Domenica learnt while working in Hong Kong, this hands-on workshop invites you to create your own contemporary centrepiece using a rich combination of seasonal vegetables, flowers, and foliage. The finished arrangement will be perfectly suited to an Easter table or autumn gathering.
Throughout the session, Domenica will guide you through sustainable floral arranging techniques, showing how to work confidently in a contemporary style while using environmentally considered mechanics. You will explore creative ways to incorporate unusual botanicals such as grasses, fruit, and vegetables, and learn how to bring texture and interest into your designs. Domenica will also share practical tips on photographing your finished piece, helping you capture your work beautifully.
By the end of the morning, you will leave with a unique autumn centrepiece and the skills and inspiration to continue experimenting with sustainable floral design at home.
