After acclaimed appearances at RISING Festival, Adelaide Festival and Perth Festival, POV returns in 2026.

Step into the mind of Bub, an 11-year-old obsessed with documentary filmmaking. Following a family breakdown, she uses dramatised re-enactments to make sense of her world.

In each performance, two unrehearsed adult actors join Bub onstage, discovering the story in real time as they navigate questions of parenting, agency, mental health, and how we speak to children. Bub’s mission: to understand her mum’s erratic behaviour—can these adults answer her tough questions?

From re:group performance collective, POV is a live, playful, urgent documentary, blurring personal history and performance.

“Every little thing about POV feels fresh… the thrill of the unexpected at every turn.” – Cultural Binge

“An extraordinarily inventive piece.” – Theatre Red
