Every Friday night in July, Crittenden Restaurant turns Brazilian, bringing warmth, generosity and full flavour to the heart of winter.
Inspired by the food of Head Chef Brunno Melo’s home country, this special series celebrates the soulful, regional cooking of Brazil, with a nod to Minas Gerais, where Brunno was born. Expect generous dishes designed for sharing, bold flavours and a relaxed, spirited atmosphere made for gathering around the table.
The set menu begins with snacks and starters, including warm pão de queijo, palm heart and tomato salad, and crisp tapioca croquettes with pumpkin, haloumi and smoked chilli honey. For the main event, guests can choose between two classic Brazilian dishes served to the centre of the table: Feijoada Completa, a slow-braised black bean stew with pork and chorizo, or Moqueca de Camarão, a Bahian-style coconut bouillabaisse with prawns, mussels, squid and market fish. Dessert completes the evening with Manjar de Coco, a silky coconut pudding served with caramelised prunes.
