Walk MP is proud to be partnering with Mornington Peninsula Koala Conservation for a special community volunteer day in Flinders on Saturday 30 August.
We’re aiming to gather 50 Walk MP volunteers to help plant hundreds of koala food trees and indigenous plants that will help restore and expand vital habitat for our local koala population.
This is a beautiful opportunity to give back to the Peninsula we all love, spend a morning outdoors with like-minded people, and make a genuine difference for local wildlife. Habitat loss remains one of the biggest threats to koalas, and together we can help create a greener future.
This event is open to all ages and abilities. However, it is worth noting that the planting area is located on a slope and requires a short walk from the parking area. This may be challenging for anyone with mobility limitations.
Whether you’ve joined us on one hike or one hundred, we’d love to see the Walk MP community come together for this special cause.
Let’s show what our community can achieve when we work together.
