Owner, Tracey Fleming, is justifiably proud. “Being named ‘Café of the Year’ is a huge honour, and an endorsement of the hard work we put into our business,” she said. ”We love how the program makes our business accountable by encouraging us to continually improve and innovate. We are always aiming to make the Blue Mini experience better for our customers, and this award reflects this.”
The iconic Rosebud eatery, along with joint winner Store Fifteen, was recognised for excellence in food safety, healthy eating, sustainability, reduction of tobacco/alcohol and access and inclusion. “Our success is built on our team of amazing staff, our dependable local suppliers and our passionate customers. They are all a huge part of who we are and what we do,” she concluded.
Located in the ex-Rosebud bowling alley in the Rosebud Business Estate, Blue Mini could almost be a contender for the most unique eatery on the Mornington Peninsula. The upcycled, recycled and reused philosophy is evident in the décor, and the with an innovative, seasonal menu fusing well-known classics and modern dishes with a twist, Blue Mini captures the essence of everything local.
