Father’s Day deserves more than one day. This year, Red Gum BBQ is making a weekend of it.

Head to Red Hill on Saturday 5th or Sunday 6th, September 2026 for the Father’s Day Weekender - two days of low-and-slow BBQ, big family tables and good times in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula.

Gather Dad, Grandad, the step-dads, bonus dads and the mates who are basically family, and settle in for a Southern-style feast featuring Smoked Brisket, Free-range Smoked Chicken with Alabama White Sauce and Pork Belly Burnt Ends, alongside Sweet Potato with Maple Pecans, traditional Cornbread, Southern Greens, Apple-slaw and dessert.

Want to make Father’s Day itself extra special? Roll out the Red (Gum) Carpet...

On Sunday 6 September, larger groups of 6 –10 guests can book the VID (Very Important Dad) Dining Experience in Red Gum BBQ’s semi-private Timber Room - a premium celebration designed for getting the whole family around one table.

Make a day of it in Red Hill, bring Dad hungry and celebrate Father’s Day Mornington Peninsula style: great BBQ, local drinks and memories made around the table.

Father’s Weekend. Feed the Legend.
