Welcome to the official tourism website of the Mornington Peninsula.

Cafes & Restaurants

Winery restaurants, cafes and more

Kick start your day with a serious coffee from locally roasted beans as you browse the breakfast menu. You’ll find food with flair at dozens of cafes, bistros and restaurants - and lots on the menu has been grown or made on the Mornington Peninsula, including wine, beer and cider.

You can snack or dine overlooking the sea, a private lake or a vineyard. And if you’re in search of Victoria’s best restaurants, five of them are right here. They’ve all won Chefs’ Hats, so the dining experience is sublime. Tip: most are winery restaurants, so sample in the cellar door before choosing your wine.

The Mornington Peninsula’s status as a gourmand’s paradise just keeps growing. These days, the coastal region is known as much for its flash wineries and first-rate restaurants as for its seascapes and wild ocean beaches.

Dine overlooking a vineyard, lake or sea. Funky cafes, bustling bistros, or fine dining; the Mornington Peninsula has it all.

Along the coast, find a new favourite café where you can relax just opposite the beach, with ‘mod Oz’ menus featuring fresh local produce, seasonally changing menus and magnificent all day breakfasts.

Pick up a copy of the Mornington Peninsula Wine Food Farmgate Trail map and look for the Wine Food Farmgate trail logo as you drive around the region.
