Embrace the rugged beauty of Cape Schanck and the historic charm of Flinders as you make your way along the Western Port coast. Leave no stone unturned, immersing yourself completely in a pathway of discovery and awe.

The Flinders Hinterland Scenic Drive

This drive takes you from the Port Phillip Side of the region at Rosebud to Arthurs Seat via the Bass Strait coastline. Along the way there are views of rural farm landscapes in Boneo and some of the amazing coastal scenery through Cape Schanck and Flinders. Cruise along the rugged coastline and look out over the waves and rocks of Bass Strait. Upon reaching the seaside village of Flinders you may want to stop and explore. You could also take a short detour and drive through the Flinders Golf Course perched on the cliff tops, and explore the Mushroom Reef Marine Sanctuary. On leaving Flinders the hinterland section of the drive takes you through the winery region of Red Hill and to the summit of Arthurs Seat where you will want to take some time to experience the spectacular views from the lookout at the summit.
