Beaches, Piers & Jetties

Stroll along a pier, wander along a beach

With almost ten percent of Victoria's coastline the Mornington Peninsula has beaches a-plenty. Take a wander along a white sandy beach on Port Phillip, explore the boardwalk among mangroves of Western Port, or brave the breezes and wild surf along an ocean beach.

Up on the cliffs, walking tracks bring the bonus of spectacular coastline views. Drop a line of one of many jetties along either side of the peninsula to get your own 'catch of the day', or find a picturesque (and insta-grammable) spot to share with someone special. With more than 1200 bathing boxes along the Port Phillip coastline from Frankston to Portsea there are plenty of spots to snap a pic. Some of the best examples can be found at Mount Martha near the life saving club, and in Mornington at Mills Beach.
