Bike Tracks

Cycling trails and bike tracks

At last count, there were more than 30 cycle trails and bike tracks right throughout the Peninsula, including the new 25 km Peninsula Link bike trail. So this is simply brilliant cycling territory. Come and spin your wheels on kilometres of smooth sealed paths along the coastline - or if you’re a mountain biker you’ll find plenty of challenges.

Some trails are strictly for bikes, others you’ll share with walkers and even horses. The sights along the way are really captivating too – little villages, local history, famous bathing boxes, peaceful bushlands and spectacular seascapes. So…on your bike!

Bike tracks abound on the Mornington Peninsula. You can cycle along the foreshore from Dromana to Point Nepean. Some paths are strictly for bikes, but many are shared with walkers and even horses; so ride responsibly. There are smooth sealed paths as well as those suitable for mountain bikes. The rural areas of the Mornington Peninsula have an extensive network of natural surfaced, single track roadside trails which have been created by users over time. The trails provide over 100km of riding opportunities and are shared use; expect to encounter mountain bikers, horse riders, dog walkers, trail runners and walkers.
