Mountain Bike Trails

Get off road and out amongst it

For the more experienced off road bike riders there are some great tracks in special sections of the Arthurs Seat National Park to explore. There are two main sections; one on the western slopes near Seawinds Gardens, and one on the northern slopes near OT Dam.

They each offer various levels of difficulty and some of the tracks are one way so familiarise yourself with the track before you start, and keep an eye out for other riders.  For a more straight forward ride the Red Hill Rail Trail is a shared equestrian track between Merricks and Red Hill. There is plenty of parking nearby most of these trails so you can bring your bike from further afield. Safety is important, so be sure to wear a helmet and riding gear suitable for off road riding.
