Hotel Sorrento Restaurant

Hotel Sorrento is an iconic venue that has been a local favourite and popular with visitors since the mid-1800s. As a family-owned and operated business for nearly forty years, Hotel Sorrento prides itself on serving sumptuous and seasonal dining.

The three-level Hotel is perched on a hill overlooking Port Phillip Bay, just a short walk from Sorrento’s main strip. The historic waterfront venue seats an impressive 1300, split between five bars and a restaurant. There are conference rooms and private function spaces too, with many original 19th century details and charms throughout.

The menu favours the seasonal and local produce on offer in Victoria. With a focus on relaxed coastal cooking, Hotel Sorrento combines new and innovative dishes with your favourite classics.

The menu includes elevated pub classics such as steak, chicken parmigiana and lamb shanks with a contemporary twist, plus a selection of fresh tacos and main-sized salads.

If you've arrived for a drink, you’re spoilt for choice. Visit open-air Salt Bar for cocktails (including an extensive spritz range); downstairs Cellar Bar saloon for regional wines and cheese; the locals’ favourite, Main Bar, for tap beers and live music; Rooftop for stellar views; or Lawn for an alfresco drink and bite to eat overlooking Port Phillip Bay.
