The last Saturday of each month (Sep – Apr) is Meet The Makers Market at Hawkes, with some of our Best of Local producers exhibiting their beautiful work and explaining their inner workings.
On the last Saturday of each month from September to April, Hawkes Farm comes alive with its Meet the Makers Market, bringing together a curated collection of talented local artisans, makers and small-batch producers.
Set on a working farm with more than 100 years of history, the market is a chance to slow down, explore and meet the people behind some of the Mornington Peninsula’s much-loved local products. Browse handmade homewares, jewellery, candles, artisanal crafts and more, with makers on hand to share the stories, skills and inspiration behind their work.
And there’s plenty to enjoy beyond the market stalls. Pick up a serve of Hawkes Farm’s famous hand-cut, thrice-cooked hot chips, made with heritage Kipfler potatoes grown right here on the farm, and settle in for a relaxed day in the country.
With open spaces, regeneratively farmed paddocks and vintage farm machinery for little explorers to discover, including a 1970s tractor, it’s an experience the whole family can enjoy.
