Saddle up for the ultimate country racing experience as Sportsbet Mornington Cup brings the outback to the Peninsula.

The Pony Paddock, presented by Community Bank Southern Peninsula, transforms General Admission into a family's dream day out.

Young racegoers can enjoy face painters, hair braiders, an animal farm and amusement rides, as well as pony rides and pony-petting courtesy of local equestrian community groups Riding for the Disabled Australia and Nurturing Neighs. At the Country Fair Arena, kids can get hands-on with all thing's horses during Cow Kid Hour, with multiple sessions throughout the day learning what it takes to become the next cowboy or cowgirl. Then watch the pros take to the stage and showcase their craft through sheep dog demonstrations, whip cracking displays and line dancing.

The Live & Local Stage brings the Peninsula's best up-and-coming country artists to the track throughout the day, before a DJ takes over for the afternoon. Fuel up at the Peninsula Saloon featuring Red Gum BBQ, quench your thirst at the Rusty Vine Bar featuring Baillieu and Quealy Winemakers, or explore country-inspired food trucks and bars.

With so much country charm, entertainment and family fun on offer, Sportsbet Mornington Cup is the ultimate family day out and proudly a Clip Clop Club race day.
