Mornington Peninsula tourism operators showcased the very high quality and diversity of their visitor experiences when ten businesses enjoyed spectacular success at the 2017 RACV Victorian Tourism Awards on Thursday 23 November.
As longstanding supporters of the awards, the Mornington Peninsula Regional Tourism team was proud to see such a rich field of entrants with 10 nominations from the region, three of whom won Gold Awards along with three Silver, two Bronze and one Finalist. Of the Gold winners, two businesses were also inducted into the Victorian Tourism Awards Hall of Fame, winning Gold in their category for three consecutive years.
“It is terrific to see the industry embrace the spirit of co-operative competition and come together to celebrate the best Victoria has to offer.” said Tracey Cooper, Chairman, Mornington Peninsula Regional Tourism Board. “We honour the region’s Industry Partners and 2017 business category winners and entrants; Bay Fish ‘n’ Trips, Mornington Peninsula Brewery, Crittenden Estate, Harmony Bed & Breakfast, Lakeside Villas at Crittenden Estate, Aquabelle Apartments, Arthurs Seat Eagle, Peninsula Hot Springs, Bunyip Tours and Red Gum BBQ.
“The Mornington Peninsula Tourism Industry continues to evolve and these awards play a critical role in Mornington Peninsula’s growth as a tourism destination. It is fantastic to see the region represented and awarded in such a positive and prolific way,” concluded Ms Cooper.

All Victorian business category gold winners are automatically entered into the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards which will be held in Perth in February 2018.
