Safety Beach Pier

This small, picturesque pier is located along the 2.7kilomentres Safety Beach. The pier itself is a popular subject of photographers but from out on the pier you can also get some great shots looking back at the colourful bathing boxes lined up along the foreshore. From the pier you can also enjoy views of the cliffs and across to Arthurs Seat.

The adjacent calm, sandy beach provides safe swimming and boating opportunities, and this area of the coastline consists of grassy picnic areas, children's playground and walking tracks. This is a popular boat and jet ski launching area with parking for boat trailers available.

Car parking can easily be found close to the jetty on either the road or close to the beach. There is also a small shopping strip located opposite the pier.
