Tucked among the native bushland at the highest point of Alba Thermal Springs and Spa, a new chapter in luxury and wellness has begun. On June 24, Alba officially opened The Sanctuary, a serene collection of five stand-alone villas and two studio rooms designed for deep rest, rejuvenation, and connection with nature.
Located in Fingal, just over an hour from Melbourne, Alba Thermal Springs and Spa has quickly established itself as a world-class wellness destination. With this new accommodation offering, guests can now linger longer, enjoying an immersive overnight escape in one of Victoria’s most peaceful pockets.
Each villa has been crafted with care and intention. Designed by renowned local interior designer Kate Walker (KWD) of Mt Martha, the spaces embrace a gentle, calming palette of muted tones and natural textures. Inside, guests will find premium touches at every turn, from Aesop products for hair, hand and body, to a complimentary mini bar featuring local wines from Ten Minutes by Tractor, brews from St Andrews Beach Brewery, and Illy coffee.
For breakfast, guests can choose to dine at Thyme, Alba’s all-day restaurant located in the heart of the spa complex, or opt for an in-room experience with a spread of local Mornington Peninsula provisions.
“An on-site accommodation offering has been part of the development plan for Alba Thermal Springs and Spa from the very beginning,” said Alba’s General Manager, Craig Dodd. “With the success of our bathing, spa, and dining experiences, we are thrilled to welcome guests overnight and for weekend stays, especially from interstate and overseas visitors who may wish to explore the region for a number of days.”
